Numi's Aged Puerh Tea Brick is a compressed bar of loose Puerh tea leaves. Unlike traditional teas that are oxidized for 8 hours, Puerh undergoes a unique 60-day fermentation process resulting in a bold, earthy flavor with hints of malt and elevated levels of antioxidants. Puerh is compressed into bricks and aged, like fine wine, for months, years or even decades. This increases its value, health benefits and premium taste.

Brewing Instructions

Break off 1 square portion and place in a 10 oz. teapot. Puerh should be rinsed before steeping to awaken the sleeping leaves pour boiling water to fill the pot halfway, swirl for several seconds and pour out the water. Fill the teapot and place a lid on the top, steep to desired strength, or 2 minutes. Strain into your cup or a serving pitcher and enjoy! Each portion may be steeped 4 times. Recommended steeping times 1st & 2nd pots 2 minutes 3rd &4th pots 3-4 minutes
