More than 15 forms of estrogen have been identified but 3 kinds are dominant. They are estrone (E1) Estradiol (E2) and Estriol (E3). Each has particular functions in the human body. Estriol is known as the good estrogen, whereas if there is a dominance of the other two estrogens over a long period of time, that can be associated with various health problems in both men and women.
