Woody, coumarinic conifer with a carmellized sugar and berry jam-like sweetness and fresh, full balsamic aroma with great tenacity. Dramatically different than the essential oil from the same tree.

Like a clean, fresh forest, our absolute is made from green fir needles and twigs from Maine, USA. A very complex process of several steps is used to make this oil. Extremely dark and very viscous, our herbalists have diluted it in 10% organic grain alcohol for pourability.

Used in forest, chypres, incense, fruit, amber, fougere and holiday blends. Blends well with bergamot, all conifer oils, citrus oils, cistus, lavender, oakmoss, frankincense, rosemary, clary sage, thyme, vetiver, and many floral oils.
