Use Gymnema (Pronunciation: gym-nem-uh) to help remove accumulated sugars, a result of Pitta or Kapha imbalance. After taking Gymnema, many people report a decrease in cravings for sugar or sweet foods. Traditionally in India, people would chew leaves of Gymnema and find that the taste of sugar is gone from their mouth. This can help cut down the inclination to sweet foods. You may have a similar effect if you open the capsule and empty the contents in the mouth. However, we suggest that this product be used in capsules, as directed.
