Maidenhair is a fern most commonly used for upper respiratory problems, such as whooping cough, asthma, laryngitis, congestion, hoarseness and bronchitis. It contains beneficial flavonoids and is also diluted and applied externally to help treat boils, bee stings, eczema, and wounds.
