Pycnogenol is a natural plant product made from the bark of the European coastal pine. Pinus maritima. Pycnogenol is rich in proanthocyanidins, a special class of water-soluble bioflavonoids which are highly bioavailable. Pycnogenol is an antioxidant, 50 times more effective than Vitamin E and 20 times more than Vitamin C. It is one of the antioxidants that readily crosses the "brain-blood-barrier." It is also one of the most powerful free radical scavengers, and it improves the bioavailability of Vitamin C.
Suggested Use As a dietary supplement 1 tablet daily. To build reserves rapidly start with one tablet per 100 pounds of body weight per day, for 7 to 10 days. - Or as directed by your healthcare professional.
