Smoky and slightly sweet, Tanka Bar Slow Smoked Original is tender and delicious. When we started working on the recipe for Tanka Bar, we were trying to meld authentic Native ingredients and flavors into a bar that would honor our past, yet fit how we live today. We started with the traditional recipe for wasna and thought to modernize it. We tried all sorts of ideas to improve on wasna, but each time we added something to the mix, we went further away from what we intended. It could not be improved We came full circle to see that the traditional flavors of meat with fruit were perfect. Tanka Bar is simply great.
