The indigenous people of Australia have utilzed the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, native to the eastern part of the country, since time immemorial for a variety of purposes. Today it is one of the most widely used essential oils and is valued for its clean, refreshing fragrance.
Directions For use in aromatherapy. Dilute Tea Tree Oil with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or grapeseed oil when used on the skin. Use up to 15 drops of Tea Tree Oil per tablespoonful of carrier oil.
