Running parallel and to the west of Hells Canyon, the Imnaha River cuts and crashes through its own valley of astonishing cliff faces, orchards, nearly perpendicular hillsides and old farm houses. It is a dry, remote and wild landscape that has always felt incredibly restorative on a deep soul level.
The sense of rejuvenation and restoration we find there informs and is captured in the Imnaha River shampoo bar. Using a combination of gotu kola and green tea infused oils, amla berry seed oil, and bhringraj oil, this bar hydrates, fortifies, balances, supports hair regrowth, adds shine and luster, and strengthens and nourishes hair and scalp. Our essential oil blend of rosemary, eucalyptus and peppermint pay homage to the aromatic plants that grow verdant and wild along the rivers edge while adding their own energizing, scalp balancing and mood elevating properties to the bar.
Just as the Imnaha River helps to orient us to our own true north, this bar helps to point hair, scalp and skin in the right direction.
Directions Step One: Apply bar directly to soaking wet hair, focusing on oily & hard to reach areas. Step Two: Lather heavily! Lather from root to tip for 1-2 minutes. Be sure to really get in there! Step Three: Rinse well. If you have thick, frizzy, curly, wavy, or long hair you will want to use a conditioner after cleansing.
